Greg Farone is a 2020 graduate of Schenectady High School and a sophomore at SUNY Herkimer. The Herkimer Generals just became the first ever D3 junior college from New York to win the NJCAA National Championship in baseball after their win last week against Dallas College-Eastfield in Greenville, Tennessee. Farone, who is committed to playing and studying at Louisville next year, was awarded MVP of the tournament after pitching 13 innings, striking out 24 and allowing only five hits. Farone credits his time at Schenectady Schools for helping him through all the adversity and the ups and downs of being a student athlete. #SCSDAlumni
