Sara DiPietro, a 2003 graduate of Schenectady High School, is a fourth grade teacher at Hamilton Elementary School. She credits influential adults at Schenectady High School for inspiring her to pursue a career with students.

"Coach Lupo taught important life lessons on and off the basketball court. She was a mentor during my years as a student and stayed in contact after graduating. Mrs. Gabriel was a peer mediation coordinator who truly had the kids interest at heart and always wanted to help others," said Sara.
